Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a Production Coordinator to plan and manage production orders across multiple departments. The role includes monitoring schedules, capacity, and status reports to ensure timely execution and inventory accuracy.

You’ll expedite purchases and fabrication items to support production and shipping plans, coordinating with supervisors and internal customers for on-time delivery. Responsibilities include maintaining reports, handling shortages, and ensuring item

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in production control, inventory control or operating systems.
• Ability to express job demands verbally and in written/electronic communications clearly to supervision, peers and operating personnel.
• Must be capable of operating a personal computer.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel desirable.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must be able to meet operational deadlines during times of stress and peak activity.

Responsibilities

• Using system reports to plan and execute Picking Schedule for Stores picking activity and in-house manufactured supply orders.
• Using Shortage Reports and At Risk Reports to expedite material to meet schedules and shipment dates.
• Monitor and maintain production and inventory status reports to keep operations on plan and provide availability dates to Parts or internal customers.
• Monitor system parameters and policies related to items, BOMs and material distribution.
• Arrange replacement or repair items from Defect Notices.
• Provide replacements for missing or incorrectly picked items for assembly/production operations.
• Participate in new employee orientation and training.
• Perform other clerical tasks as required by supervision.
