Job summary

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing LLC in Indianapolis is seeking a Production Scheduler to coordinate daily and weekly production plans, balancing demand, inventory, materials, and capacity. You will collaborate with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Distribution to minimize disruptions and improve scheduling efficiency.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience with ERP systems; AS400 is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
Experience in production scheduling, planning, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems; AS400 experience is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules
Balance customer demand, inventory, materials, and production capacity
Coordinate plans with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution
Identify scheduling conflicts and adjust plans to reduce disruptions
Analyze production results, inventory trends, and demand forecasts
Communicate schedule changes, risks, and priorities
Improve scheduling processes and manufacturing efficiency
