Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC) in Holland, MI is seeking a Production Scheduler to plan, issue and control production schedules and direct material requirements to ensure a smooth flow of goods. You will coordinate with Sales and Operations, support S&OP, and analyze data to optimize performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 6+ years of relevant experience (3+ in MPS/production planning or supply planning), and proficiency with MS Office; SAP/MRP systems experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Six years of experience with at least three in master production planning, production scheduling, or supply planning.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office suite.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Must be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Create and publish daily production plans.
• Expedite workflow and coordinate changes in schedules.
• Directly contribute to production scheduling metrics targets.
• Provide necessary input to supply planner for assigned product or location.
• Maintain data relevant to production scheduling activities including planning calendars, material data and location data.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned
