Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Production Scheduler to maximize OTIF by reviewing production schedules and coordinating material flow from presses to shipping docks. The role requires experience in manufacturing scheduling, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced plant.

Based in Terrell, Texas, the position reports to the production/plant manager and offers competitive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for performance-based raises.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing scheduling experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and prioritize.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maximize OTIF by reviewing production schedules and coordinating material flow.
• Review open orders daily and track shipments for the next 3 days.
• Coordinate with upstream/downstream departments to ensure on-time material flow.
• Analyze backorder reports and resolve issues to prevent delays.
• Support leadership with daily target setting and capacity planning.
• Provide hands-on assistance for expedited orders and critical items.
