Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Production Scheduler for a manufacturing client in Fuquay-Varina, NC. This direct-hire role coordinates production schedules to support efficient workflow, on-time order completion, and optimal use of equipment and labor.

The position collaborates closely with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Maintenance to keep operations aligned. Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range schedules based on demand, capacity, labor, and material

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, supply chain, or related field required.
• 2–4 years in production scheduling or materials planning in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, demand forecasting, inventory control, and lead-time management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, labor, and material availability.
• Sequence and prioritize production orders to maximize equipment efficiency, minimize changeovers, and meet customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address downtime, staffing changes, rush orders, and other production issues.
• Maintain accurate scheduling information within the ERP/MRP system and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Maintenance to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available.
• Analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to increase throughput, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.
