Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Site Scheduler to coordinate and expedite production schedules within and between departments. You will develop, monitor, and adjust plans to meet demand, optimize capacity, and maintain inventory targets.

You will partner with Production, Materials, Customer Service, and Logistics to prioritize work, coordinate transfers, and ensure on-time delivery. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and SAP is required to analyze data and drive scheduling improvements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with clear written communication.
• Experience scheduling production in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Power BI and SAP (or other ERP/MRP).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet demand and inventory targets.
• Monitor production performance, material availability, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Collaborate with Production, Materials, Customer Service, and Logistics to prioritize work and ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze production and inventory data using SQL and Power BI to identify trends and improve scheduling efficiency.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to manage production plans while maintaining data accuracy.
• Support safe, quality-focused operations by following company policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
