Job summary

Proactive Packaging in Ontario, CA is seeking an experienced Scheduler/Planner to optimize production orders in a fast-paced corrugated converting plant. You will schedule machines, coordinate shipping, and manage sheet orders to meet customer expectations and targets.

The role requires 3–5 years scheduling in manufacturing, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, and strong Excel skills. You will collaborate across departments and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production scheduling in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of corrugated packaging or similar manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules optimizing machine capacity and material availability.
• Provide daily/weekly lead times to Customer Service and Sales; communicate schedule changes.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to enter, track, and update production data; back-up procurement as needed.
