Job summary

Quality Packaging Systems (Qual Pac) is seeking a Production Planner to orchestrate production flow from start to finish. You will plan, schedule, and monitor production lines to meet internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Production, QA, Purchasing and Shipping/Receiving to sustain high accuracy and on-time performance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of experience in production control is required.
  • Experience in Supplynet is preferred.
  • Experience in Plex is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, prepares, issues and maintains production schedules and tracks material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
  • Schedules all production line, confirms material supply and demands, and prepares work orders or purchase requests based on a master production schedule.
  • Reviews and track internal status of inventory, aiming for high accuracy and timely schedule changes.
  • Works with internal teams to resolve scheduling issues and maintain high inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborates with Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Shipping/Receiving to achieve 99% inventory accuracy, 99% production rate and 99% ship/fill rate.
