Winnebago Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain a valid production and shop floor schedule, optimizing material usage and resources while meeting customer requirements.

The role collaborates with purchasing, sales, service, engineering, and operations to coordinate material flow, resolve capacity constraints, and track performance metrics. Experience with MRP and strong English communication are essential.

Competenze

• 3+ years of manufacturing or supply chain experience within the MRP environment.
• Knowledge of operations, scheduling and purchasing procedures, MRP systems and their processes, and supply chain best practices.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement with minimal supervision.
• Excellent English and verbal written communication.
• Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

Mansioni

• Maintain a valid production schedule aligned with the master schedule and is the basis for detailed shop floor schedules.
• Coordinate the flow of materials between production stages and review schedules and receipts to optimize utilization and efficiency of resources.
• Coordinate daily with purchasing to fulfill the production schedule on time while minimizing on hand or idle inventory.
• Communicate production commitments to stakeholders within sales, marketing, service, and engineering; maintain all metrics.
• Identify and resolve conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity; propose alternatives when demand cannot be met.
• Maintain capacity data for critical plant resources/work centers; work with manufacturing and engineering to maximize utilization of resources.
• Maintain scheduling and manufactured item attributes (lead times, lot sizes, cycle times) and liaise with engineering on labor, machine, and scrap standards.
• Create and lead material strategies for all levels of required production goods and own related inventory plans.
