Job summary

Enerstaff, LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire) to oversee production scheduling, material purchasing, and inventory for a label and packaging manufacturer. You will develop daily schedules, monitor capacity and workflow, and coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Production to ensure timely shipments.

This role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work around manufacturing equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of production coordination, scheduling, or purchasing experience.
• Strong organizational, time management, data entry, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and following safety procedures.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing job training.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily production schedules for printing presses and finishing equipment.
• Monitor production capacity, labor, and workflow to meet customer deadlines.
• Coordinate order status updates between Sales, Customer Service, and Production.
• Purchase and track paper stocks, films, foils, adhesives, and inks. Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available to meet production schedule.
• Coordinate the ordering and availability of custom dies, printing plates, and cylinders required for specific label and packaging jobs.
• Monitor inventory, maintain safety stock, and conduct cycle counts to prevent material shortages.
• Track production and purchasing metrics, prepare reports, and maintain accurate ERP/MRP records.
• Work with the Production Manager to monitor workflow and improve efficiency.
