Job summary

Cent Planning & Quality in Centennial, CO is seeking a Production Planner to manage schedules for manufactured and purchased items and assemblies on assigned projects. You will create detailed production schedules and shop orders, coordinate release, and monitor shortages with Expeditor and Purchasing.

The role requires reading engineering drawings and BOMs, strong MRP/ERP skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Oracle experience is a plus. Workweek typically 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and EC Orders.
• Proficient with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Oracle experience is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with Expeditor and Production Management.

Responsibilities

• Create the production schedule for an assigned project with input from Production Management.
• Create shop orders and release them with assembly/production dates as soon as possible after engineering release.
• Monitor shortages and coordinate delivery dates with Purchasing and Expeditor.
• Review and act on order releases, exception messages from ERP, and related documentation.
• Coordinate staging and assembly scheduling to support build plan and capacity.
