Job summary

You will manage raw material and consumable ordering, maintain ERP/MRP data, create kanban signals, and support month-end inventory reconciliation while collaborating with sales, purchasing, maintenance, and finance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or materials management in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for scheduling, purchasing, and inventory.
• Strong Excel skills and data-driven problem solving.
• Understanding of kanban/pull inventory and lean manufacturing.
• Organizational skills and ability to handle competing priorities.
• Clear communication across production, purchasing, maintenance, and finance.
• Molding/plastics or process manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule across molding lines based on demand and capacity.
• Sequence production to minimize changeover time and meet on-time delivery targets.
• Adjust schedule for breakdowns, material shortages, or rush orders; communicate changes promptly.
• Determine raw material requirements and place purchase orders to ensure supply.
• Create and maintain kanban signals and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Enter production data, reconcile entries, and generate reports for leadership.
• Support month-end inventory counts and resolve variances.
• Collaborate with sales, maintenance, quality, and finance to optimize scheduling and material flow.
