Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Northwest in Burbank, WA is seeking a logistics/production coordinator to schedule orders, coordinate with the Production Supervisor and detailers, and keep customers informed of delivery dates.

You will arrange trucking with approved freight providers, manage freight documents, and serve as the liaison between customers, shop, placer, and detailer to ensure smooth, cost-efficient deliveries while upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Master and Dispatch schedules for all orders in fabrication.
• Coordinate shop production schedule with the Production Supervisor and detailers to minimize costs while meeting customer needs.
• Advise customers of scheduled delivery dates.
• Adjust delivery schedules to accommodate emergencies to maximize shop efficiency.
• Arrange trucking with approved freight companies and establish daily truck schedules.
• Act as liaison between the customer, shop, placer, and detailer to resolve problems.
• Process freight invoices, production tags, Bills of Lading and other documents.
• Coordinate shop production schedule with the Shop Supervisor and detailers to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Arrange trucking with approved freight companies and schedule deliveries.
• Develop working relationships with customers and vendors.
• Prepare and record necessary paperwork.
• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
