Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes sales orders on the Master Production Schedule using capacity planning tools in accordance with customer requirements and the Company’s manufacturing plan guidelines.
• Demonstrates accountability for long-term planning of production requirements.
• Reviews production plan for appropriate action to take or rescheduling of all assembly orders when unable to release due to shortages.
• Works with the Sales Department to meet customer commitments and resolve order scheduling issues.
• Propose and get authorization for a recovery plan on delinquent orders when normal lead time is insufficient to meet customer needs. Makes use of business forecast with easy to access and transparent data.
• Quotes current normal lead time and build rate capability.
• Uses Six Sigma to drive process improvements, and support leads in analyzing data. Business partner with logistics team to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Reports and monitors production forecast load and capacity.
• Drives robust scheduling discussions.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. The incumbent will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by department management.
