The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math ability, and proficiency with Word and Excel. Daily shifts vary with workloads; overtime is possible, with hourly pay in the $25–$28.50 range.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Review sales orders against requirements and work in process using the MRP report.
• Release purchase orders to production material and floor stock to support the business unit.
• Interface with manufacturing, purchasing, and supervisors on material status and planning issues.
• Create job packets and run lists for daily line Runs.
• Verify coil availability and special part details for daily runs.
• Communicate with sales about order issues and plan changes.
• Interpret customer drawings for appropriate punches (Zee Line).
