Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Production Coordinator to assist in planning production schedules and to optimize the use of our capacity. You will release POs, coordinate with manufacturing and sales, and prepare daily run packets for the assigned line.

The role requires basic math, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Prior knowledge of a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning production schedules to meet delivery requirements.
• Release purchase orders for production material and floor stock.
• Interface with manufacturing, purchasing, and supervisors on material status.
• Create job packets and run lists for daily line runs.
• Verify coil availability and communicate with sales on issues.
• Interpret customer drawings and punch details.
