The role interfaces with sales, purchasing, and manufacturing, releases orders and materials, reviews WIP, and prepares daily run packets to support smooth, on-time manufacturing. Strong math, Excel, and Word skills are essential, as is attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Some knowledge of manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning production schedules to meet delivery requirements.
• Review sales orders against current requirements and WIP using the MRP report.
• Release purchase orders for production material and floor stock.
• Interface with manufacturing, purchasing, and supervisors on material status.
• Create job packets and daily run lists for the assigned line.
• Verify coil availability before issuing job packets to line leads.
• Communicate with sales and line teams on order details and issues.
• Interpret customer drawings and program appropriate punches (Zee Line).
