Job Description
- Develop and maintain production plans for assigned area of SafranHE production operations.
- Build plans to meet customer requirements while maintaining shop efficiencies.
- Work around capacity and material constraints.
- Analyze and reschedule work orders to meet output targets.
- Create scenarios and options for un-forecasted output variations.
- Support efforts to reduce and control WIP.
- Lead meetings with managers to review production plans.
- Track and report daily production schedule and output, advising management of potential issues.
- Create schedules to meet production goals and customer commitments.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager on manpower for schedules.
- Resolve production schedule problems with operations personnel.
- Monitor slotting adherence and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate WIP targets and throughput metrics.
- Conduct calls with France to align workload.
- Work with Customer Support to ensure asset availability.
- Implement recovery plans to meet goals.
- Expedite orders based on customer expectations.
- Participate in daily review meetings, presenting relevant data and issues.
- Propose process improvements using QRQC.
- Act as liaison during audits and routine support activities.
- Participate in internal investigations as directed.
Complementary Description
Create and monitor production schedules, ensuring they meet deadlines, communicate problems, and develop procedures for solutions. Responsible for updating and maintaining schedule metrics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in production scheduling, planning, or related fields.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, and workflow processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems like SAP.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Physical requirements include sitting, using hands, reaching, occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Work environment is usually quiet.
