Job summary

Value Driven Solutions, Inc. is seeking an RF / Microwave Engineer for our Hialeah, FL site. You will develop, validate, and maintain production test processes for RF/microwave components and work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-volume, precision manufacturing.

You will design test fixtures and transfer new products to Florida operations, optimize test coverage, and train technicians in test methods and equipment. On-site role with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; master’s a plus
• 3+ years in RF/microwave or related manufacturing engineering
• Hands-on RF test equipment experience (VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters)
• Solid understanding of RF metrics: S-parameters, insertion loss, isolation, VSWR/return loss, noise figure
• Familiarity with SMT assembly and PCB troubleshooting
• Experience with test automation (Python, LabVIEW, C#, or similar)
• On-site work in Hialeah, FL; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma/SPC knowledge; IPC standards knowledge

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain production test processes for RF/microwave components
• Support transfer of new products and test capabilities into the Florida facility
• Design, assemble, and troubleshoot test boards, fixtures, control boards, and harnesses
• Collaborate with SMT to optimize pick-and-place, solder, and yields
• Analyze test data and failures, perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions
• Improve throughput, test coverage, and cost efficiency via automation and process refinement
• Write and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and engineering docs
• Train technicians and production staff on test methods and equipment
