Job summary
BigHat Biosciences is seeking a self-motivated Research Associate I, Production to power our high-throughput, automated antibody production platform and deep molecular characterization. The role involves scaling the platform, contributing to data generation, and supporting in-house reagent manufacturing efforts in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications
- BS in Biology or Chemistry with 1+ year of industry experience.
- Experience in process execution, laboratory method development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work schedules such as 7AM–3PM or 10AM–6PM.
- Hands-on with automated liquid handlers and molecular biology techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform automated and manual high-throughput processing on the BigHat platform.
- Contribute to scaling up the platform and data generation.
- Support in-house reagent manufacturing efforts.
- Execute experiments to optimize performance of the platform.
- Keep detailed records and communicate results and challenges.
- Collaborate on SOPs for sample processing.
- Identify and implement production workflow improvements.
- Operate automated liquid handlers and analytical instruments.
