Job summary

IDEMIA Group is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to plan, design, and implement programs to optimize the availability and productivity of our production site facilities and equipment. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant operation while coordinating repairs and upgrades.

The role emphasizes collaboration with production staff, adherence to safety standards, and timely KPI reporting to uphold high-performance manufacturing at IDEMIA’s facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, designs and implements maintenance programs to maximize production uptime.
  • Manages installation and commissioning of new equipment following safety guidelines.
  • Repairs and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment, tools and instruments.
  • Liaises with production staff to coordinate repairs and inspections with production schedules.
  • Maintains KPI data and supports ISO compliance through reporting.
  • Holds electric or automation basics and applies fundamental maintenance procedures.

Purpose

This role plans, designs and implements maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of production site facilities and equipment.

Key Missions
  • Manages and participates in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, following the local safety guidelines
  • Repairs and maintains mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments, following the local safety guidelines
  • Liaises with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules
  • Works in a team with Health and Safety to ensure the machines are compliant with the law
  • Manages the contract with the machine suppliers
  • Monitors the equipment inventory and consumables
  • Provides information for external or internal audit (KPI/ ISO certification)
  • Maintains key performance indicators and delivers monthly reports
  • Holds electric or automation basics
  • Possesses basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and tools obtained through work experience or education
