Job summary

IDEMIA in Chantilly, VA, a global leader in identity technologies, invites applications for a Production Operator responsible for assembly, material forming, processing, treating or packaging to meet specifications, schedules, volumes and quality targets.

You will operate and maintain production equipment, monitor processes, ensure adherence to security, quality and environmental standards, and participate in continuous improvement teams while supporting daily operations under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensures completion of all work within service-level agreements
• Operates and maintains production equipment through identifying and performing first line diagnostics and complying with operating procedures
• Contributes actively to the business performance of production
• Highlights any opportunities for improvement and participates in process improvement teams
• Supports to production integrated into the flow (quality control, controls and preparation of raw materials, supply management, etc.) or to machine operation, etc.
• Applies security, quality and environmental standards, alerts in the event of an anomaly, etc.
• Trains and reviews the work of lower-level employees
• Fixes all kinds of problems related to the role
• Works under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations

This role manages various production activities like assembly, material forming or shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc. to ensure production excellence and to meet established specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage targets, quality standards and service-level agreements.
