Job summary

Old World Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to serve as a hands-on technical resource for resolving equipment problems on the production floor. You will diagnose, repair, and replace tooling and machines and procure replacement parts as needed.

The role reports to the shift supervisor and requires a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, documentation, and teamwork. Candidates should have mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills to maintain records and support

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience, or a technical degree related to maintenance or related field.
• Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude.
• Accurately perform basic math and measurements.
• Operate a computer; use spreadsheets and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by completing maintenance on production machines.
• Identify and locate sources of problems using observation and testing tools.
• Adjust components using hand tools and measuring devices.
• Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies; place orders as needed.
• Prepare maintenance reports and document actions taken.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment and follow procedures.
