Job summary

Johnson Outdoors is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair production equipment and perform planned preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting with schematics, maintaining pneumatics/electrical systems, documenting work, and supporting safety and process improvements; some duties may involve assembly, machining, and welding.

Qualifications

• Requires associate/technical degree in maintenance technology or related certification.
• Typically requires 2 years of production maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair production equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment issues using schematics and drawings.
• Document maintenance performed and actions taken.
• Work with pneumatics, electrical, hydraulic, and air compressor systems.
• Provide maintenance support to production and the facility.
• Identify and implement process improvements, safety, quality, and waste reduction.
• May perform assembly, machining and welding as needed.
• Promote safety policies and workmanship standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
