Job summary

Safariland is seeking an assembly worker at our Dalton, MA facility to mass-produce products on multiple stations. You will assemble, label, and verify parts, support quality control, and ensure accurate logos/serial numbers while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role requires 2–3 years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. Band saw, fabric cutting, and basic shop tools experience are beneficial for daily tasks and Kaizen contributions.

Qualifications

• Two to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• General knowledge in the use of hand tools and shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Assemble and label products for stock as needed.
• Assist Quality Control in production.
• Verify sales order to assembled parts and/or finished product.
• Adhere product logos and serial numbers on products properly.
• Cut steel with band saw or other shop equipment.
• Support composite layup and fabric cutting for ballistic and blanket production.
• Observe safety regulations and keep the production area clean and organized.
• Participate in kaizen activities to improve productivity and quality.
