Job summary

[Unknown] is seeking a Production/Quality Engineer at a smaller New Haven, CT site to help build and strengthen the quality systems from the ground up. You will perform hands-on quality work in the lab, support root-cause analysis, and drive improvements to the QMS and SPC programs.

The role targets someone with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years in the chemical industry, with experience in PSM-regulated plants and a strong grasp of quality systems.

• Solid understanding of strong quality systems in chemical manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day quality work in the lab and collaborate with plant personnel on root-cause analysis and corrective action planning and execution
• Participate in rebuilding and improving the facility's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Participate in and help lead the development of a Statistical Process Control (SPC) program
• Optimize tracking and reporting of quality metrics and support the Management of Change (MOC) process

An established manufacturer of advanced resin and polymer technologies, serving industries such as automotive, construction, electronics, and consumer products, is seeking a Production/Quality Engineer for one of its U.S. facilities. This is a hands-on role at a smaller site, ideal for someone earlier in their career who wants to build a well-rounded skillset and help shape the site's quality systems from the ground up.
