Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a major healthcare company to hire a Creative Project Manager for a temporary assignment in South San Francisco. You will own the schedule, scope, and cross-functional handoffs for every project, serving as the operational bridge between creative teams and brand leaders in a fast-paced environment.

You will intake requests, create briefs and timelines, oversee day-to-day production across multiple projects, and manage risks and resourcing.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project or account management experience in health/pharma advertising.
  • Hands-on experience managing pharma promo materials through MLR review.
  • Familiar with Veeva Vault PromoMats and FDA/OPDP guidelines for branded content.

  • Capture requests from brand teams and translate into briefs and timelines.
  • Oversee day-to-day production across multiple projects and channels.
  • Manage project status, priorities, and resource capacity.
  • Serve as the primary ops contact for brand marketers and studio leadership.
  • Coordinate MLR submissions and track review cycles through final sign-off.
  • Route assets through Veeva Vault PromoMats and distribution channels.
  • Identify risks and resolve timing or scope bottlenecks.

Job description

Aquent is partnering with a major Healthcare company to find a Creative Project Manager for a Temporary opportunity. You will own the schedule, scope, and cross-functional handoffs for every project moving through the studio, serving as a critical operational bridge between creative teams and brand leaders in a fast-paced environment.

To be considered for this role, you must:
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position)
Key Responsibilities
  • Intake new requests from brand teams and translate them into clear creative briefs, comprehensive timelines, and resourcing plans
  • Oversee day-to-day production across multiple concurrent projects, channels, and deliverables
  • Manage project status, set team priorities, and balance creative resource capacity
  • Act as the primary operational contact for brand marketers, brand managers, and studio leadership
  • Coordinate MLR review submissions, track review cycles, and manage feedback through final sign-off
  • Route final approved assets through Veeva Vault PromoMats and internal distribution channels
  • Proactively identify project risks, resolving timing, scope, or resourcing bottlenecks before they impact deadlines
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by helping refine studio workflows, reporting, and asset templates
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management or account management experience within a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency
  • Hands-on experience managing pharma promotional materials through the medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review process
  • Working knowledge of Veeva Vault PromoMats and FDA/OPDP regulatory guidelines for branded and unbranded content
  • Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong ability to collaborate directly with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Designers to provide clear, actionable direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with enterprise project management software such as Workfront, Asana, or Monday.com
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience within an in-house creative or content studio setting
  • Exposure to modular content frameworks and content reuse workflows
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted content production tools

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55.16-$61.29/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
