Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to direct all phases of product manufacturing, from new product introduction through completion and distribution. You will coordinate design, manufacturing, quality and test to ensure products meet specifications and quality goals, while formulating long-term production plans to optimize processes, costs, and yields.

You will also recruit and develop talent to maintain high-performing operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides management direction of all phases of in-house or outsourced manufacturing for a product (or product line) from new product introduction to completion.
• Functions as the central resource with design, manufacturing, quality and test as the products move to completion and distribution.
• Ensures that products shipped meet specifications and quality goals.
• Forms and executes long-term production plans to improve processes, reduce costs and increase yields.
• Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
