Job Description: In this role, you'll be responsible for continuously monitoring plant operations to ensure optimal production and quality, proactively addressing and solving issues as they arise. Duties include inspecting various plant areas to troubleshoot problems, reviewing processes such as slurry, fermentation, distillation, and evaporation to maintain product quality, and certifying ethanol. You'll document process variables, manage chemical inventories, and coordinate with the lab and maintenance teams to address issues and optimize efficiency. Safety protocols must be followed, including handling chemicals according to safety sheets and participating in safety and environmental programs. Additionally, you’ll cross-train with other operators for coverage, participate in efficiency projects, and perform scheduled work requests, all while maintaining a safe and reliable operation.

Job Requirements: The qualifications for this position include a High School Diploma or GED, with 0-2 years of relevant experience. An Associate degree in Process Technology or a related field is preferred, along with experience in an ethanol processing plant. Candidates should be able to read and follow standard operating procedures, possess basic computer and data entry skills, and demonstrate excellent communication, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail is also essential.
