Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Production Engineer to support day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will collect, validate, analyze, and report data to management and help create production schedules.

Responsibilities include working with production management on reporting and analytical tools, identifying issues, budgeting, and leading cross‑department initiatives to improve efficiency, quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Fluency in Korean strongly preferred.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort integrating new technology in complex environments.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP/MES systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Lean, Six Sigma, 5S knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with production management on ongoing reporting and in developing analytical tools to enhance production volume and profitability.
• Identify production issues, analyze root causes and drive resolutions.
• Assist in budget analysis and development of operating goals for productivity, quality and safety.
• Compile and analyze company data and create reports for management review.
• Provide production line support including process improvements and troubleshooting equipment.
• Utilize LEAN, Six Sigma and other best-practice tools for day-to-day problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Lead implementation of new manufacturing initiatives, including resource allocation and applying good manufacturing principles.
• Keep records, monitor labor costs and coordinate with departments for material availability and capacity.
• Analyze statistical trends to develop KPIs with internal partners.
• Develop complete production plans with scheduling, priorities, progress tracking and problem resolution.
• Create mechanisms to improve production and streamline workflow.
• Develop new reporting methods, templates, and tools to drive cross-functional improvement.
• Adhere to Hanwha Q Cells policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
