Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS GA, Inc. in Cartersville, GA seeks a Module Sr. Process Engineer to guide shift Process Technicians and drive continuous improvement across OE, JE, safety and quality. The role reports to Process Manager and emphasizes safe, efficient plant operations.

You will lead sampling, testing, and documentation efforts, develop training plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and automation enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering degree or equivalent technical college diploma preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills essential.
• 5+ years of relative experience in process engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven technical acumen with ability to apply engineering principles to improve processes.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or related continuous improvement methodology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement methods for sampling, inspection, testing, and evaluation of products.
• Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Ensure safe work methods and adherence to plant safety rules.
• Lead and drive cross-functional improvements in collaboration with safety, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions).
• Create training materials for process engineering and continuous improvement.
