Job Title

Production Process Engineer

The Position

This full-time position is for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join the Holographix team (Headwall's Optical Components & Assemblies business unit). We're seeking a versatile engineer with strong mechanical aptitude who can contribute to our continued growth. The ideal candidate will bring practical engineering skills and demonstrate eagerness to learn new technologies across several engineering disciplines. This role requires the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to our innovative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. New Product Development

• Perform replication of masters, stampers, and first articles with meticulous attention to detail.
• Spearhead process development initiatives to ensure optimal product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate between Engineering and Operations teams to bring new products online.

1. Continuous Improvement

• Drive innovation by recommending and implementing process changes to enhance replication capabilities and yields.
• Streamline replication labs and reduce operational footprint.

1. Production Support

• Lead training and qualification of new hires on replication and adhesion promotion.
• Ensure smooth transition of new products to production.
• Serve as a technical resource to troubleshoot complex production challenges.
• Manufacture production products.

Required

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. In lieu of a bachelor's degree: 10+ years of direct experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
