You will prepare digital files, operate wide-format printers, and perform basic maintenance. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

The Printing Operator is responsible for overseeing and performing daily printing operations withina manufacturing environment, with a primary focus on wide-format printing and productionlabels. This position ensures print jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, andaccording to established quality standards and production deadlines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process and manage wide-format print orders according to customer specifications,production schedules, and established deadlines.
• Prepare digital files for printing, verify file accuracy, and produce proofs for approvalwhen required.
• Operate wide-format printing equipment and adjust machine settings to ensure optimalprint quality and production efficiency.
• Monitor printing operations to ensure jobs are completed accurately and meetestablished quality standards.
• Inspect finished printed materials for accuracy, color consistency, defects, and overallquality.
• Identify and troubleshoot printing or production issues and take appropriate correctiveaction.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance, routine cleaning, and basic troubleshooting tomaintain equipment performance.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area in accordance with company policiesand safety procedures.
• Prepare, package, label, and organize completed print jobs for the next stage ofproduction.
• Monitor workflow and production schedules to ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Communicate workflow challenges, equipment issues, material shortages, and potentialproduction delays proactively to management.
• Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth productionoperations.
• Follow all company quality control procedures, manufacturing standards, and safetyrequirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience managing print operations, production operations, or amanufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of format printing and production workflows.
• Experience operating printing equipment and adjusting machine settings.
• Strong understanding of print quality standards, file preparation, and productionprocesses.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet production deadlines
