Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Red Lion, PA is hiring a Production Plng Partner I to assist with clerical tasks that support production planning and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules.

The role monitors inventory, coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors, and maintains production data in ERP/MRP systems to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required with 0-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Assists with clerical tasks that support production planning and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules.
  • Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors.
  • Tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems.
  • Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases.

Required Qualifications

  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
