Job summary

Aston Carter in Auburn, WA seeks a Planner to support the manufacturing planning team by maintaining production documentation, updating travelers and routing, and coordinating information across departments. The role offers hands-on learning in manufacturing planning within a dynamic, on-site production environment.

You will work with ERP/MRP systems, assist with backlog reduction, and progressively take on greater responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or document control preferred.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems preferred.
• Aerospace background a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with planning and scheduling in production environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing planners with day-to-day planning and scheduling activities.
• Maintain and update manufacturing travelers, routing documents, and related production documentation.
• Process revision changes and updates to planning information in a timely and accurate manner.
• Track outstanding information and requirements needed to move jobs through the planning workflow.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather and confirm required planning and production information.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the ERP/MRP and planning systems.
• Assist with planning backlog reduction and documentation cleanup initiatives.
• Learn manufacturing planning processes, tools, and standards and progressively take on increased responsibility over time.
