Douglas Electrical Components, Inc. is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Associate to coordinate and maintain production schedules, ensuring efficient flow from raw materials through production to shipment for on-time delivery.

You will monitor WIP, prioritize changes, and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and production to analyze demand, capacity, and material availability and continuously improve scheduling accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling tools preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain production schedules for efficient workflow.
  • Track progress from raw materials to shipment.
  • Prioritize schedules based on expedites and production needs.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to resolve delays.
  • Act as liaison between engineering, supply chain, sales, and production.
  • Monitor work-in-process and ensure smooth flow.
  • Communicate schedule updates and risks to stakeholders.
  • Maintain scheduling data in ERP and reporting systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow and production efficiency.
