Job summary

Blencor is seeking a Production Manager & Planning to oversee daily production operations and lead planning/scheduling for the facility. You will coordinate with Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Sanitation, HR, and senior management to ensure timely, safe, and compliant production.

This hands-on role requires a strong presence on the floor and excellence in planning, organization, reporting, and communication to drive efficiency and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's preferred in a related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with supervisory or management background.
• Experience in food manufacturing, frozen foods, produce, or packaging preferred.
• Experience with production planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and manufacturing safety practices.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and production reporting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production and packaging operations.
• Develop and maintain detailed daily/weekly production schedules.
• Direct and support production supervisors, leads, and staff.
• Monitor output, productivity, labor use, downtime, waste, and yield.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Maintenance for materials and equipment.
• Work with QA/Food Safety to ensure GMP and product specifications.
• Identify constraints and communicate risks to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and attendance requirements.
• Coach staff on performance, safety, quality, and attendance.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing and employee relations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scheduling.
• Handle additional duties as needed.
