Job summary

RightClick in Fairfield County, CT, is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage purchase orders and supplier relationships for imported finished goods. The role requires organization, attention to detail, and proactive communication to balance multiple priorities in an onsite setting.

You will generate buy plans in SAP, release and track POs, coordinate with suppliers on pricing and delivery, monitor shipments, and maintain PO data alongside sales planning to flag shortages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in purchasing, procurement, supply planning, or inventory management
• Hands-on SAP experience required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with MRP, scheduling, and capacity management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate purchase order data in SAP and a master inventory tracker, partnering with sales planning on alerts and shortfalls

Purchasing Specialist’s Responsibilities And Duties
