Job summary

L&L Fabrication, Inc. is seeking a Production Planning Manager in the Douglas, WY area. You will own the production schedule across multiple facilities, forecast capacity, and communicate delivery commitments to Sales and leadership.

In this builder role, you will establish the planning system, scheduling infrastructure, and data discipline to scale operations. Regular coordination with shop teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations experience in a job-shop/make-to-order environment.
• Experience in weld fabrication or pressure vessel manufacturing.
• Ability to own a production schedule across multiple facilities.
• Strong Excel and data skills; able to build scheduling views and reports.

Responsibilities

• Own the production schedule from outside sales commitments through internal shop execution across Douglas, WY and Northern Colorado facilities.
• Maintain real-time visibility into capacity booked at each facility and workcenter.
• Lead daily scheduling meetings with shop leadership, project management, and Sales.
• Forecast capacity and balance workload between Douglas and the Northern Colorado facility.
• Provide Sales with clear, realistic delivery time frames based on actual capacity.
