Job summary

L&L Fabrication, Inc. is seeking a Production Planning Manager to own the production schedule visibility and capacity forecasting across Douglas, WY and Northern Colorado facilities.

You’ll bridge shop floors and Sales, coordinating daily scheduling discussions to keep production, procurement, and sales aligned on a single picture. This builder role will create the planning system, scheduling infrastructure, and data discipline needed to scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in a job-shop/manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and daily scheduling meetings.
• Strong capacity forecasting and level-loading experience.
• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the production schedule across multiple facilities from sales commitments to shop execution.
• Maintain real-time visibility of work centers and capacity against backlog.
• Lead daily scheduling meetings with leadership and shop teams.
• Provide Sales with clear delivery time frames based on capacity and backlog.
• Improve data discipline and evolve scheduling tools and processes.
