Job summary

L&L Fabrication, Inc. is seeking a Production Planning Manager to own the production schedule across Douglas, WY and Northern Colorado facilities. You will drive real-time capacity visibility, coordinate with Sales, Shop, and Procurement, and deliver a single, accurate plan to support growth.

You will build the planning system, establish scheduling discipline in Smartsheet, and lead cross-functional meetings to align backlogs with committed delivery dates across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing ops.
• Experience in weld fabrication and pressure vessel manufacturing.
• Ability to own production schedule across multiple facilities.
• Strong Excel/data skills and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own the production schedule from outside sales to shop execution across Douglas WY and Northern Colorado.
• Maintain real-time visibility of booked capacity by facility and workcenter.
• Track jobs through full production sequence from Not Started to Ready to Ship.
• Identify schedule risks, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints early.
• Lead daily scheduling meetings with production leadership and shop teams.
• Own scheduling data accuracy in Smartsheet and evolve forecasting views.
