Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Manager- Production Planning Supervisor in Byhalia, MS. You will coordinate and direct the production control department, shaping schedules and capacity planning using LEAN principles and one-piece flow to meet customer delivery expectations.

You will lead with APICS knowledge, oversee MRP systems, and drive level loading while mentoring staff and aligning with SAP/COPICS tools for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• BA degree in management, supply chain or equivalent manufacturing experience required.
• APICS CPIM certification a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP, COPICS, Barcode, Trace, QCBD, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide status information to scheduling with planned ship dates.
• Develop and maintain synchronization across the MC.
• Work with area managers to manage and improve schedule adherence.
• Match capacity with demand to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Apply lean manufacturing to create level schedules.
• Audit production control processes to ensure discipline and close gaps.
• Engage employees through training and team-building.
• Lead safety, quality, delivery, cost, and S&OP meetings.
• Set priorities and support problem solving across the department.
• Recommend improvements for scheduled flow and build processes.
• Direct and manage staff in standardizing production control processes.
• Support targets for inventory and capacity to aid workload planning.
• Run daily department improvement meetings.
