Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions in Mount Pleasant, SC, seeks a hands-on Product/Manufacturing/Production Planning Engineer to support launch and scale-up of manufacturing operations in Charleston. The role blends manufacturing/process engineering with production planning, material flow, ERP/MRP discipline, work instructions, quality and shop-floor support.

You'll own production processes, develop capacity plans, ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP, analyze bottlenecks and lead improvements while partnering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing/production planning and industrial engineering.
Knowledge of production planning, ERP/MRP, material flow, and manufacturing docs.

Responsibilities

Own and improve production processes, routings, work instructions and standard work.
Develop production, capacity and resource plans aligned with orders and delivery dates.
Support ERP/MRP data accuracy including materials, routings, inventory and scheduling.
Analyze material flow, bottlenecks, throughput, quality and lead-time; implement improvements.
Collaborate with operations, logistics, engineering, sales/project teams and European resources to resolve issues.
Apply Lean / continuous-improvement methods and establish shop-floor performance controls.
Provide hands-on support to operators and help develop training and quality checks.
