Job summary

LIGHTERA, based in Norcross, GA, seeks a Production Planner to provide production plans and technical oversight to the SFO production process, ensuring material availability, product quality, and timely delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field and 4 years in supply chain or manufacturing; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred; collaboration with sales, engineering, and logistics to ship orders on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, or related field.
• 4 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
• Graduate degree in related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and communicates production schedules to sales, leadership, and floor personnel.
• Monitors progress to ensure schedule adherence and troubleshoots production delays.
• Disposes product after management review to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Maintains levels of raw and finished goods and coordinates with sales/engineering on requirements.
• Works with sales, logistics, and production to ensure on-time shipment of orders.
• Generates, reviews, releases and reports progress of production orders.
• Prepares reports on production processes for management.
• Implements improvements in production methods, equipment, and procedures.
• Performs inventory counts and adjustments.
