Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an entry-to-mid-level Planning professional to coordinate daily production scheduling, materials, and inventory data for fiber optic assembly. This role sits between production, purchasing, and engineering to prevent delays and keep builds on track.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in manufacturing planning, familiarity with fiber optic components, and proficiency in MS Excel. Epicor Kinetic, SAP, or Odoo experience is a plus, as is JIT and MRP awareness.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in production planning or related roles in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with fiber optic components; hands-on splicing not required.
• Proficient in MS Excel; strong organization and cross‑department communication.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic, SAP, or Odoo and MRP concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily/weekly production schedules and track work orders.
• Monitor materials and inventory; follow up on deliveries and stage kits for upcoming builds.
• Manage work orders, POs, routings, and BOM accuracy in ERP (Epicor Kinetic).
• Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing in daily planning meetings.
