AppleOne Employment Services in Ventura, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Planning Engineer to support production planning, engineering documentation, ERP data accuracy, and continuous improvement efforts. This temp-to-hire role collaborates with production, engineering, operations, and safety teams to improve processes and shop floor execution.

Competenze

• Create and manage BOMs, production routers, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Maintain ERP data and support accurate production planning processes.
• Review mechanical drawings and support tooling, estimating, and process improvement activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and partner with operations teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, production planning, or related role.
• Strong experience with ERP systems, Bills of Materials, routings, and manufacturing records.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Background in tooling design, manufacturing process improvement, or production documentation control.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and U.S. passport required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.

• Maintain ERP database accuracy, manufacturing records, BOMs, routers, and production documentation.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, work instructions, and related engineering documentation.
• Develop production routers, pick lists, work instructions, and process documentation to support manufacturing operations.

• Assist with cost estimating, lead-time analysis, time studies, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
