Job summary

CKC Automation in Benicia, CA is seeking a Production Planning Supervisor to lead workflow across Assembly and Warehouse, plan materials, and align schedules with Engineering and leadership. This hands-on role requires strong organization, problem-solving, and the ability to keep a manufacturing operation running on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production planning, materials management, or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven supervisory or management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency with ERP, inventory, or scheduling software; NetSuite preferred.
• CPIM/CSCP or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain work orders in NetSuite ERP from released BOMs.
• Own shipping, receiving, and picking; ensure inventory accuracy and on-time delivery to the assembly floor.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Engineering to resolve procurement issues and keep material flowing.
• Monitor project timelines and shop capacity; adjust sequencing and staffing as conditions shift.
• Lead, motivate, and hold accountable shipping, receiving, and picking personnel with clear goals.
• Use ERP, inventory, and scheduling systems to track work orders and provide status updates to management.
• Promote a safe, clean, and ethical work environment; drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
