Job summary

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to drive the seamless transition of customer orders into active production. By preparing material requirements and equipping the shop floor with all necessary technical documentation and picking tickets, this position ensures that manufacturing operations run efficiently and customer shipments are delivered precisely on time.

Responsibilities

• Order planning preparation for purchasing (gross requirements)
• Enters production schedule on orders
• Prepares shop floors and picking tickets for the production floor
• Prepares support documentation, drawings for the production floor
• Acknowledgment of customer orders with scheduled shipping dates.
• Completing change order requests
• Back up and support to Sr. production scheduler as needed
• Preparing orders for invoicing
• Invoicing

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service/order processing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing industry

Job Type

Flexible daily schedule within normal business hours; start and end times can be arranged in advance to accommodate individual scheduling needs
