Job summary

Lapeyre Stair in Harahan, LA, seeks a Production Support Coordinator to drive scheduling and workflow in our manufacturing operations.

You will use ERP to manage orders, coordinate material procurement, and lead planning across programs to meet delivery commitments.

Ideal candidate has an associate degree or 2+ years of manufacturing experience, strong organization, communication, and Excel skills; Epicor ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years in manufacturing
• 2+ years in production scheduling/planning in manufacturing
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
• Structured problem-solving and follow-through
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Use ERP to enter orders, maintain production data, support workflow
• Ensure orders are complete including routings, docs, pricing, and delivery
• Process modifications, cancellations, and expedited requests in timely manner and update teams
• Lead production planning across programs balancing capacity and schedule demands
• Interpret MRP messages to support procurement decisions, rescheduling, and work order releases
• Coordinate with inventory and procurement for material availability
• Monitor work orders for shortages, engineering changes, and priority shifts
• Respond to customer requests re feasibility, lead times, status, quotes
• Communicate across Lapeyre Stair teams to support throughput and alignment
• Participate in continuous improvement of Production Control processes
