Job summary

Innova Solutions in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Production Planning Specialist for a full-time contract (12 months, with possible contract-to-hire). The role is onsite from 7:30am-5:00pm, first shift, with a pay range of $23-$25 per hour.

You’ll manage production plans, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure materials and labor align with schedules. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related experience and will oversee material availability and cycle timing to meet

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, coordinates and monitors products through the full production cycle to meet requirements.

• Informs management of work-in-progress status and coordinates with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering and program management.
• Ensures materials and labor availability to meet production needs and delivery commitments.
• Work to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and schedule interruptions.

Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Production Planning Specialist.

Position Type: Full-time contract, Possible Contract to Hire
Duration: 12 months
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30004 (Onsite/1st shift/7:30am-5:00pm)

As an Production Planning Specialist you will:

• Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements.
• Works from build plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers.
• Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments.
• Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Requires broad theoretical job knowledge. Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $23-$25/hr
